Question RIZOMA handlebar question

Anyone out there know what the "sweep" measurement is for the Rizoma Conical Handle Bars 29-22mm (RIZMA005)?

I want greater/more sweep than the standard bars.

Thank you in advance.

I think those dimensions are available on Rizoma's site:

http://www.rizoma.com/

or try PJ's Parts - They're one of the dealers specializing in Rizoma:

Thanks, Kedo. I did look on the Rizoma website, and it gives every measurement except sweep.

I have emailed the question to Motovation, Rizoma, and PJ's , and am still waiting to hear back. In the meantime, I thought I would post the question on the forum. It seems to be a genuine mystery.

I found a shop that had a full selection of the pro taper line. I walked in and out setting bars in the clamp on my bike and having a sit. Their "raptor" bars had the greatest sweep, and rise of the line. They felt good, but the controls' wiring, hoses, and cables would need lengthening, and they looked bad (not graceful). I was looking for more sweep and rise, and settled for a little extra sweep & medium rise with the "ATV high". No lengthening for the controls needed. Look out for the length needed to hold the street controls. Dirt bike controls fit in a shorter space, and you are shopping for dirt bike bars in the 1 1/8 size.

Yep, what he (CDONA) said. I went with a Renthal Fat Bar - RC High bend. Thought it was a 'tad' too wide so took it to a sub-standard machine shop to see if they'd cut the ends about 1/2". They hacked them up. Even so, I tried to mount the controls and found that there wasn't enough room for the controls even before trimming the bars. So then I started looking more closely at the measurements and geometries of the bars. The one that looked the best to me was the Renthal RC Enduro. It is com[act (I think sometimes the Hyper is more of a sport bike than anything else), and has the length on the control ends of the bars for street-width controls. That's what I'm running now and I like it! Renthal, Pro Taper, and Rizoma all make good products you'll be happy when you find the right set-up.

P.S. - The Zeta bar from Wheeling Cycle Supply also looks interesting, without knowing the dimensions. They have a Hyper-specific kit that has hand guards, bars, turn signals... Forrest (the owner)would probably give the measurements if you call and ask.

Daisyup,
As you probably already found out, the dimensions are on the Rizoma site as well as ours but having had the Hyper with stock bars and a Streetfighter with the Rizoma bars I can tell you that the Rizoma's will rise just a bit higher and sweep back more and down. We have all colors in stock so please let us know if we can of any further assistance.

Thanks, I just ordered a pair of the Rizoma bars in black from Motovation/
I'm looking forward to giving them a try!

I'm about to sell my red Rizoma bar I bought last year.
The rizoma is too different than stock, which I liked a lot (except for the softness of it). I think I will try next a pro taper contour with a Carmichael bend.

From the description of what you are looking for, it seems the Rizoma bar will be perfect for you tho.
