nemisis problems

My hyper after being fitted with nemisis control and dyno,d runs great but the kilometer travel distance is now double the actual kilometers travelled.(on the speedo)
The mechanics who fitted it blame a faulty unit.
still waiting for a replacement.
one sent but wrong one
3 weeks later.
I am going to post pics and off load on the slack arse nemisis dealer here in aus once fixed.
cost of unit was $1600 fitted plus dyno $850.
No complaints with ducati dealer he has been trying to contact him too.
should have gone to a power commander . a third of the price.
pissed off.

I think the Nemesis only transmits the rear wheel speed based on tire circumference and amount of pick up points and can be calibrated to give you the true speed. The odometer is a dash function, not in the ecu. My Hyper read double milage with the stock ecu, there was a recall to re-flash the dash.

I had a faulty nemesis fitted to my sport 1000 and it took fucken months to get it sorted and for them to send a replacement. Their lack of service was very disappointing. Email exchanges with head office gave me the impression they care very little about the end user.
Once fitted with a goodun the bike went great though.
Expensive too.
I'm fitting a power commander to my new bike.

Contact - Mick Boasman
Competition Systems in the UK.

I email for info and I get a reply, promptly.
I email for parts and i receive them.

Excellent service!!

Aus dealer not the best and IMHO he is better suited to dealing with
Car SETUPS.
