Has anyone ordered carbon parts from ECC racing?

I stumbled upon this store on ebay and while I like the price point for most of their parts, I am a little concerned with the Hong Kong address and relative obscurity of the company.

Has anyone purchased anything from them? If so, how is the overall quality?

If you are looking for quality carbon without fiberglass backing, look at the forum vendors. If you are looking for carbon, and don't mind having it backed by fiberglass, look at RaceCon.

I believe the best quality carbon is Magical Racing, and if you are on a budget, like me, look at the RaceCon stuff, great product, great look, great fitment, and still lighter than OEM.

ECC is a great option is you want to put your bike on the track and keep your stock overpriced plastics in good condition.

If you have a custom paintjob or any kind of design job in mind, you might want to consider a getting your carbon fiber from Sgift-Tech or Carbon Dry Japan.

With that said, I know few people who ordered full body kit direclty from ECC website. You have to choose what you want to buy, and send them an enquiry.
People who ordered got very quick answer and usually great discount.
Fitting seems to be good now.

This bike is ECC only :

A little bit more details, from Snowcoco, a craazy HM rider on the french board.

He ordered the nose, the 2 tank panels, the tail part and fork guards.
Grand total including shipping and taxes was 440€.
He placed his order the 10th of march 2010, received the parts the 17th.
Parts are not 100% carbon fiber, but 1 layer of carbon fiber and I guess glass fiber or something like that (well I guess you have to cut the price somewhere)

The tank panel are a 1 piece part, that include the inside part (black plastic part on stock Hyper)

More detailed pictures :

No.
And it's no paint, but stickers.

I didnt put the pictures of the parts before the sticker job, cause they are such in a crappy quality you can barely see it's carbon fiber...

I have a huge box of ECC twill CF parts on the way from Shenzhen.

Will post photos and review when they arrive... should only be a day or three.

The twill weave was a special order fulfilled within 10 business days as promised and they gave me a volume discount...

Susan @ ECC could not be nicer to deal with.

I am ordering not for the weight reduction, simply aesthetics at a good price point. I will be getting most of the pieces painted to varying degrees, though some CF will be visible.

I have attached photos of two parts already received and painted, fwiw.
