icon variant review
finally bit the bullet and bought one of these street motard helmets.i was hesitant to buy one since other people said they still want to rip your head off at speeds over 60 mph.ive worn the variant a few times now and was very suprised to find out that it does cut through the wind very well and even after a 100mi ride neck was not sore and at even 80mph u can turn left to right pretty easily.one of my riding buddies has the shoei model and we both agreed the icon has far better ergonomics so if your considering buying one of these motard helmets check out the icon variant suprised the hell out of me.and also thanx to frustration for the italian sticker idea for a all white helmet,sorry bit your style a bit!

Very cool. I actually went down to Moto Liberty (in Dallas) today and tried one on myself. It fit like it was made for my skull. I'll be picking one up in the next month or so as well. Oh, and your stickers look great!

I have one on order and should be here this week.
I was thinking of a white one, but got the black rubatone.
is that the dark smoke shield?
call Chris at Riders Discount. They are a vendor on here, that's where i ordered mine from yesterday.

yea thats the dark shield,i wanted the gold shield but i guess theyre not avail till august.everyone of my 9 helmets have dark shields and i wanted a change.

I have the one as well and i love it! It gets the most use out of my 5 icon and 2 shoei selection. Its absolutely the new generation for urban protection. Its gr8 on the hyper but works gr8 on my ninja as well. U do feel its there up in the triple didjits, but tilt your head forward a bit and it slices right through. Then again u cant beat the bitchen styling of it. Flat black with dark smoke sheild and u take on a whole new identity.

I wondered that too. I just bought an airframe for a steal. They go for $350 or so on ebay.

$350 is the going rate on em in solids and no the shield dont block to much sun if any at all..just for looks folks.
