plexiglas windscreen worth buying, how affective?

is this product worth buying? how much difference in high speed wind protection?

It doesnt make the hyper a touringbike, but it definately fucks up the looks of it...

It makes a significant difference on long (500km) rides.It's a very easy 5 minute job to do the on or off.

I have one, although I put it on reluctantly.

I insatlled the Scott's Steering Damper and the Scott's triple clamps raise the handlebars about 20mm. I like the feel of the new mount but the look from the front of the bike made the handlebars look like they are mounted on top of the moose instead of in his head.

The windscreen hides that look and the higher handlebarsand the handlebars hide the "windscreen" look of the windscreen by making it appear that it doesn't stick up as high.

Wind protection?? Well, the wind is now directed at my neck/lower helmet area, but it did take a bunch of wind off of my chest.

I've decided that I like it, although it did take some time...
