That's a deal! Full Termi is $3k + install. You can find cheaper or maybe $7-8thousand, but it might not have the exhaust and you WILL eventually want to put an an exhaust system on it. Trust me I wish I had the full Termi.

I bought a used (180 mile, all stock) base model 2008 about 2 years ago for $9,400. Prices have dropped a lot in that time, but I've had a hella of a lot of fun in that 1-1/2 years riding the Hyper!

I don't know, I think there are better deals out there these days so you should definitely look around. Is it a base or S model?

is the hyper a practicle bike for the city. i am planning to use it to commute daily in LA traffic (parking lot traffic), will the hyper (with a DS motor) be a better option than a monster?

i think the hyper is great for everyday traffic especially in la.as for a good deal thats prolly pretty good since you have to unload your other one..being that you would prob have to wait awhile to sell in this economy.i have seen some s models with less miles going cheaper than you stated.try craigslist,if you dont mind coming to az i saw a couple in az cl for the 7k to 8k range.
