Need Help to find info about 1098HM

Hi !

Some times ago i have seen an Hypermotard with a 1098 or 1198 engine i think, at least it was Liquid cool HM.I have done some search, but with no success, can somebody send me the link to find information on that one. I would like to transform my HM this way, but would like to know what it involve before.

Ok i'm not to good in the search,

but maybe you can tell me how you've done.When i do search i do it in advance search mode, and put hte info i'm looking for ( not to much word ) but in the lower ens of the search tap i don't have any good tap to choose like exemple ( Hypermotard thread) so i'm looking in the all Categories, but 9 times on 10 i didn't find what i'm looking for. On ohter forum i'm pretty good to find wath i'm looking for but here don't know why but ???

I just typed "1098" in the search tab under the "Hypermotard" section and then scrolled down until I found the thread "1098 Hypermotard Prototype".

Ok now i know why i wasn't find anything.
When i was going in the advance search i was clicking in the advance search from the galery section, i haven't remark that this things have two advance search. Now i know.
I will be a litle bit less stupid .
And you know what ?
It works 16 sec

Schwantz34, the owner is Krisfox from the French Hypermotard forum.
You will also find a thread there with 30 or 40 pages on this build (including home made tank + subframe)

But it's not an Hypermotard with a 1098 engine.
It's an accidented 1098 with custom subframe to fit the Hyper seat, and custom tank to fit the Hyper cosmetic.
He then added goodies like the fork from the 1098 S and a set of BST wheels.

He was recently offered 23.000€ by someone and was asking people on the french board if he should sell it or not.

To my knowledge, there's only 1 guy who did what you have in mind...
It's an italian dude, and he fitted a 999 engine, not a 1098.
From what he said, you have to cut something on the frame, but you can use the stock 999 airbox and the HM tank.

Here is a picture from the Hyper with a 999 engine in the frame.
Now, if you're gonna do that kind of job, you can be sure i'll be bugging you in your garage

Hey chouch how do you do ?

I'm pretty sure that i will making one some day.
I have build some GSXR in the past with various mix of parts and have been very happy with it. Now whit the Hyper i finaly find a bike that i realy enjoy to ride, but it mist some top end , and for me it needs more snap. I would like to make one with a 1098 or 1198 engine and electronics.For the frame i would like to use a HM if it can fit without to much modification. If not i would use the 1098 frame but will try to keep the geometry near the one of the Hyper.For the suspension i would like to use something like on the evo sp.
What i want is have a Hyper with a bit more travel on the suspension and a lot more motor.I want to create the ultimate play bike. A kind of Hyper SXV....
I want to give it a Supermotard feel as much as possible.

I'll take my time and chose every parts that will go on it carefuly. i wil also have to be lucky with some good scrap yard. But i don't want to rush anything , i have my standard HM until i made my dream bike .

When i'll begin, i'll put you in charge of research for parts, you're pretty good at it, you'll be welcome to came home to help me if you whant.

There's a little trick for using Google to search specific sites. Typing "site:somewebsite.com" after your search phrase in a Google search will search only that site but using the power of Google. For example, try the following and see what you get...
