Wet duck

I garage my 796 but you cannot avoid the ocational thunder storm and high humidity here in Fl.
All the electrical conns are exposed. Might it be a good idea to pull them apart (1 at a time ) and dose them with Dielectric grease to keep them dry ??

absolutely ... even the "waterproof" connectors might have some water in them, so best to do as you describe.

+1 on the dielectric grease. Anytime I open/change/make an electircal connection on any bike I always put a little in to help protect it from the elements. Cheap and easy protection from a potential bad experience in the wet.
