I was just wondering if anyone has done a more complete analysis of the airflow requirements of these motors.
It seems like we do intake stacks, some kind of exhaust, and if we are feeling froggy, head porting and valve work. It would be interesting to see flow testing to determine how much restriction the throttle bodies represent or how much flow even the ported heads support in comparison to what the motor can use.
For that matter, the DS1000 heads are supposed to flow better. If that is the case, why aren't folks adapting those?
Of course, it doesn't look like we even have an option for equal length exhaust pipes, so maybe this is all pointless.
