Fat duc

Hey guys,
I just opened up my air box and gonna core my exhaust in the next day or so. Other than that my motor is stock besides my cat eliminator. My question is, for my application would i benefit from a fatduc? Im not trying to milk every drop of preformance out of it, just after a better sound. My dealer is a couple hrs away and i would like to avoid a trip there for resetting tp and what not. But i also dnt wanna run it too lean. Is that even in question?
Anyway if u guys have any input i would appreciate it.
thx

I ran the fatduc, all else stock, for a year. Even when it was stock, I did notice a smoother acceleration, better idle, and no popping on decel. I definitely got my money's worth.

Nope. I emailed them about it a while back for my 796 and the dude said he's having a hard time figuring out the Siemens system.

The Siemens is German right? This system was supposed to correct all the flaws and the surging of the Maranello. I don't understand why the Europeans can never get their fuelies right.

The fuelie on my CBR is absolutely perfect. Feels like a perfectly tuned pumper carb.

The Siemens ECU might be made here in the states. I know that there is a Siemens factory here in Concord, CA. It is less than 10 miles from my house. Occasionally the company I work for does small construction projects there and I have seen that they do manufacture electronic components there.

I exchanged e-mails with fatduc.com last week. They are testing a new version now and hope for preliminary results in the next couple of weeks.
