Warranty Question
Hey guys, I was planning on buying the Remus full system, DucShop Pods, DP ECU and getting it dyno tuned. Will this void my factory warranty? I just got my 09 S about a month ago so I still have quite some time left on the warranty. Thanks.

The way my warranty was explained to me by the dealer is what ever you replace falls under that manufacturers warranty. So replace the exhaust, that now becomes a remus warranty item. Ducati warranty still covers what is stock.

Ive checked into this previously (with other bikes) and would say that this quickly falls to the wayside as you do performance upgrades and dyno tuning. More than likely they will not honor that warranty (especially on the engine components). That being said, i think if you brought in a frame or structural issue that it wouldnt be a problem. Just my 2 pennies.

Here's the important part - which doesn't mean you won't get challenged:
"In the US, the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act specifically provides that a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle."
