Is this in the right place?

Well I dont know if this is the right place to post this so if it's not sorry and just point me in the right direction please. I just sold my RC51 to buy a 2010 hypermotard 1100 SP. The RC was just NOT fun to ride around town. I am picking up my new hyper this friday Anyways is there anything I should look for or watch out for with the new EVO SP? I have a monster 695 with pro taper bars and some termi pipes but the wife took over that so... Anyways thanks for any help in advance...

Congrats on getting the bike sold. Havent heard anything bad about the new Evo SP. Watch out for the small fuel tank, but don't worry the solution is easy...

Yeah I was reading some posts about a fuel light on @ 60 miles??? Wow that's about one way to Ft.Knox for me so I would have to fill up on the way to base and on the way home...

I get the light at 85-90, and fill up 2.5gal. There is a 6.6 gal tank as well, but the 4.5 will let you use the various intakes for the hyper.

stock seat sucks. at least on my 09 and the comfort seat is just as bad in my opinion. i went with the 6.6 tank and am very happy. i love mine and grin like a litle kid every time i ride it. have done a couple 6 hr days on it and that wasn't fun. will be putting the soft luggage on it end of july and going to laguna seca. that should test the new sargent seat. thinking of fitting a small windshield but havnt found one yet. i saw a video of one on u tube but the quality is poor so its hard to see the windshield.

Watch for the idiots in the parking lots that will be drooling all over your bike asking questions like: what size is that? How fast does it go? Is that a Ducati?.......

I seen some stacks on the intake on another post and they looked great. If I change out the intake to stacks will that void my warranty?
Also is there one frame slider that anybody recommends?
Im getting ducati to throw in the ducati tank bag. Has anybody used this tank bag if so what did you think about it?
Also I just found Rizoma's website...wow....
Sorry for all of the newbie questions but then again Im a newbie to this bike.
The bank just called and asked me when I wanted to pick up my new hyper...WOOHOO
This will be the first brand new bike I have ever bought...

Congrats NoPower! I actually just sold my 04 RC-51 for the same reason, its just a full blown race bike that really has no other use; then I bought my first brand new bike , an 08 1100.

Enjoy the Hyper, your gonna love it, I put 600 miles on in a week and a half; now its just waiting to be serviced
