My 796HM w/ LV CAT Elim kit from IT - pics
Well, I got tired of waiting for a US issued LV kit and ordered one from MACCHI MOTO in IT. It took 7 days to arrive. ....even with overseas shipping and currency exchange fees it was $325 delivered. EUR to USD is really good right now . I just got it on this evening and the fit and finish is superb. Lower pipe has no welds except on the flanges.... tight fit on the Y connector...fit to OEM pipe is perfect and no leaks. Man -Oh- Man the sound improvement is Absoluetely amazing.... SO much more throaty I am just grinning from ear to ear. I hope to ride it to work Thurs to see what other gains there are ...My bud took pics and they are excellent
and with the pig in the background

Thanks ducatiwop. The only stock pipes left after this is the short bend from the back cyl w/ the O2 sensor in it and the downward Sbend coming from the slipon mufflers. The mating at these two stock pipe areas was perfect.

That looks nice! After a few heat cycles the color will darken and match the OEM stuff thats left. Price is good considering there is more to the kit than the 1100 kit. LV stuff is great, fit is perfect. Other systems may have more bling factor but the LVs are superior quality and price.

Exactly Fin_Duc ... Thanks. So far I can not concentrate on performance gains .... I had to blast home from work because I got notice my wifes mom finally succumbed to a long illness ...... but there are No negatives I can offer right now.
I will get a ride in on my twisty section (well central lower MI twisty for a lot of you guys flat and Limpy) and report back
Peace.

Purchased one for my 1100.. Anxiously waiting...
Macchia Moto was quick to reply and only with a few online translators it went pretty smoothly.
Thanks for the links.

Awesome, thanks for the report and pics
Let us know asap about any performance changes!
This mod is next on my list, after that im probably getting the PC-V.
Talked to the senior product manager of Dynojet and he said they just finished the PC-V work on the HYM796, according to him they should have production units by mid July.

The 796 application is nicer looking than the 1100 as it includes the header and has less curves. It looks a lot like the termi 2-1 up to the collector.
