Happy Father's Day to ME!!

After years of drooling and months of searching I am now the proud owner of a new 2009 Red Hyper 1100!

Traded in my tried and true 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 this weekend for my new ride. I rode 350 miles from Chicago to Moto Sports in Des Moines, IA to make the exchange and I am really ecstatic - my first and so far best Father's Day weekend! Moto Sports in IA were really great - owner is also the mechanic and he installed Ca. Cycleworks gas tank, speedymoto frame sliders, battery tender harness and wired up my gps.

I was a little skeptical at first being that I have never ridden the hyper before and I was coming from a totally different kind of bike (then again, what bike isn't completely different from the hyper?)

I'll report back later with some initial impressions - have to go take a peek in the garage to see how my new stallion is doing.

Ha ha I am super happy - most beautiful piece of machinery I have ever laid my eyes on!
