Woodcraft to the rescue.

Decided to through my bike down in a low side at a track day this weekend. Temps were over 100 and the tires turned into grease.

The only damage was to my rearsets and my mirror. This is all due to the Woodcrafts. They stick out farther than the frame sliders and saved my bike. Frame sliders did not even get touched. Neither did anything else on the bike.

To fix my rearset is only going to cost me around $40-50 in a replacement peg and one for the brake lever. The turn signal is pretty cheap on ebay nowadays so no biggie. I will never buy anything other than Woodcrafts again.

Well worth the money IMO. Wish I would have had some kind of bar end sliders.

Bummer on the slide and it looks like the Woodcrafts earned their keep. I had a set, never put them on, but they were quite burly.

The stock hand guards and mirrors take about 15 minutes or less to remove after you have done it once or twice. IMO, don't even bother replacing the stock one (unless just to have for resale) and put the money towards proper hand guards and bar-mount mirrors.
