Slipper Clutch Ducabike

Hi Guys,
I just bought a hypermotard 1100 with 11000KM and the clutch seems to be in bad shape so I'm planning on replacing it with a slipper unit. I saw on Ebay cheap Ducabike slipper clutch and I was wondering if they were good or not? I'm planning on doing mostly street and maybe 2 or 3 track day a year. I want to keep the 12T since easier to find. Most of you are going with the STM but dam they are really expensive, almost twice...does it worth the difference?
Can you expect doing more than 3000KM with one set of plates? Anyways your story & experience would be appreciated.

I think it's great tha way sponsor/vendors offer us discounts. Yippie! As far as the different slippers go... it is my experience (and it is continually reinforced) you get what you pay for. People who buy crap 'cause it is 'cheaper' get cheaper. Then, they spend good $$ again to replace the crap and end up spending more in the long run. Buy the good. Ride far and fast. ;-D

I bought an EVR, I like the technology. A big plus is the EVR customer support. I bought a used clutch that was used on a show bike and the spacer was missing. After trying to find a spacer, with no luck, I decided to write EVR directly. Now I thought this would be a long and difficult process but it was anything but long and difficult. EVR asked for my address and shipped a spacer to me at NO cost, no shipping, no anything. What could have been a nightmare was a great experience.

They will get my business in the future that's for sure. BTW, the clutch operates perfectly, track tested!
