Nice helmet... and he certainly needs to polish up his off road cyclemanship before he leaves the pavement based on that display.

OK, Stewart I am not but when he almost got punted on crossing the log, I had to laugh.

Granted that narrow crossing looked a bit treacherous but a quick twist of the throttle, ass off the pegs, weight back would have solved both obstacles.

Of course, I broke all those rules myself and I am going to KTM so I guess I fit this thread.

How many dipwads does it take to move a Hyper 5 ft???? apparently four and zero helmets!!!

That was pathetic. And my new KTM would wheelie through that section

From that vid I would assume they are happier for it. 4 guys to get a Hyper across a walk bridge, that was painful to watch.

That was really sketchy looking! I thought it was hitting the ground for sure when it lunged.

A sure sign of someone who has absolutely no dirt experience (or clue evidently) is to put a knobbie on a 17" front. I've raced Rally Moto a few years and there's always someone who puts a knobbie on a 17" rim thinking that they'll get amazing traction and they usually pull out after one stage because the handling is so ungodly evil.

There's a good reason dirt bikes have 21" front wheels.

Oh c'mon fellas give the guy a break.
I enjoyed watching him struggle, and his mates, but it looked to me a genuine 'nook' in the trail, that had a certain degree of difficulty to it.

There's was a drop to the left, (that his mate disappeared into at one stage), and an even bigger one to the right, (the creek).

The bridge was at 90 degrees to the trail, and not actually the direction they were traveling.

Sure we could have all flown over that on a 100kg dirt bike, no luggage etc.
(The KTM 690 SMC is 140kg+) Hyperkatoom. Add some luggage, and the only mono you'd be doing over that pass would be the one in the rescue chopper on your way to hospital...

But shit like that is what enduro traveling is all about, especially on a Hyper fully laden with luggage.

Sheesh, there's only one bike that has crossed so far that I can see in the vid, and I bet it took a few helpers as well with the look of the luggage.

I'm sure all those fellas pulled together to get all riders across, and it would have been great fun, and exceptional 'camp fire banter' that night on the trail.
I'd be proud I was the one on the Hyper if it was me making a dick of myself...

Good find Cassos.
