They are, in a word great. Much better feedback and feel. Way more stable in corners with bumps, tracking through the corner is precise.
So far only spirited street riding, I'm at the track Monday and I'll report back as soon as I can. I can't even begin to say how happy I am that I made the change. They are far superior to the stock equipment.
The install was completed by ECS in Middletown NY. After some brief road testing they decided to add a considerable amount of oil above the Ohlins spec. I believe ECS made the right decision but I'll know more after Monday. BTW ECS will be at the track so there should be a consistent strategy behind any adjustments.

Did you get the kit from them or did you get it somewhere else and have them install it? Do you mind giving a breakdown of costs? You're in NY and I hadn't heard of ECS so now it seems more possible. I used to have Computrack do all my bikes but I'm not roadracing any more so I don't have that ongoing relationship.
What track? Loudon or NJMSP

I bought the kit from Ducshop, I think they were one of the first to have them in stock. It's a little difficult to break down the cost because I had other work performed at the same time.
Ohlins 25 mm kit- $1450 (included correct spring weight)
Install- $600, which included new rear spring, initial setup of front and rear suspension and dyno runs. I debated installing the kit myself but I'm glad I didn't.
We are at NJMP-Lightning on Monday for a Desmo track day.
Are you in Brooklyn? We ride off the Island every few weekends if you're interested.

Yeah, Brooklyn. I don't have my Hyper yet - it's coming from California and should be here next week. I'd like to take it to the track this summer just to help become more familiar with it. I quit roadracing and have been racing dirt the past 4 years so I'm interested in getting back to pavement. The Hyper is my way of staying off a race bike and keeping it fun.
Let me know about rides or track days for sure. Thanks!
