Oops
Went for a "spirited" ride through Santa Barbara's wine country over the weekend with some fun folks. Great day, tons of fun.
Doing a little pre-ride inspection today I noticed that during at least a couple rotations from Saturday's ride I was at the very edge of the rear's left side. I probably shouldn't push it that hard on the street.
At least my new tire is fully scrubbed in

Nah, you can run it that hard. Don't be skeered.
I used to round the edges of my rear tires on my R1. FYI, there's not a lot of traction when you ride the tire on those edges. Good fun though....

So where's the pics mate?
A picture tells a thousand words...
I have these little evil pitch forks molded into the edges of my pirellis.
F*cking hilarious.
Here's some shots of my hoops.
These tyres are quite new as you can tell, and only seen a few street miles so far, but...
Why did pirelli put that molding there in the first place?
Do we move closer to the devil the more spirited we ride...? Maybe...
I'm aiming to get rid of them soonish because I'm a good Christian...
Haha, good gimmick from pirelli if you ask me, and it's all good fun.
Good on ya hoopty, you got to get ya moneys worth mate

Yeah, I figured I'd better wear those off before someone at church see it and realizes it's powered by the devil

Thanks for asking John. Heard back on Tuesday - no dice They're looking for someone with a little more experience managing cisco hardware among other things. No biggie though. My current position affords me the flexibility to learn new stuff here and there so I'll take this as motivation - provided I can get myself to stop wasting time on this damn forum!
Now back to my tire Like I said, it was just a couple rotations, so no balled rubber or anything. I was proud nonetheless - albeit a bit surprised - to see it. And the left used to be my timid side.
The Rosso Corsas get a big thumbs up from me
Question: How far do I have to lean to wear off the little tits like between the 55 and ZR?

Your probably going to have to ride, like my wife drives, and buffer some kurbs to wear those puppies down...
Or... do what I do, which is get my daughter to pick them off with tweezers when I'm working on the bike. Makes her feel like she's helping out...
