Unhappy Flashers won't work on a brand new 796

I have a brand new HM 796 with 14 kilometers on it and for some reason my front flashers don't work, but the rear do.
I'll contact the dealership about it, but if anyone can save me the trip it would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jo

Did you check the fuse?

Not yet I did not have time to do any check ups when I got home, but don't the front and rear flashers run on the same fuse?

Not sure, but it's the simple easy things you should do first. Both front flashers not working points to something like that.

Did the blinkers ever work? Is the headlight working? Any other electronics not working? I may be mistaken, but you might be able to see where the blinkers connect to the harness right in front of the gas tank. Maybe during assembly they overlooked them.

I do not remember seeing the front blinkers working when the bike was delivered to me, I was probably not paying attention lol.

When I get home tomorow I'll check the fuse box and the connector if possible. Is the fuse box wasily accessible?

Seat. 1 bolt
Tank cover. 2 bolts + 2 bolts next to gaz trap
Right tank pannel. 3 bolts remaining.

At this point fuse box is in front of you.

the bikes arrives at the dealer ship partly unwired and this is a job they do locally, so most probably they forgot to connect the wires, I had a different problem when I got mine the blinkers were connected left to right and right to left in the front, and I realized this only after 1 week of riding, this was dnagerous...
Follow the wires and check that...

Well... both blinkers are unplugged... and I can't seem to find where they are supposed to be connected, so I guess I'll try to bring it to the dealershing before this weekend.

This is an easy fix. Just pull the headlight assembly off, and you should see where they go. There's only one connector/bundle that looks anything like what you're looking for. If you can't see them without pulling the headlight, it will be very obvious when you do.
