I installed an R1 throttle tube from the 04-06 R1, to be honest I measured the throttle turn before and after and it was exactly the same twist, exactly.
Not what I expected, but it is a cheap way to reduce the left to right looseness of the stock Ducati throttle tube. Maybe an R6 throttle tube will shorten the twist, but I'm not sure. The throttle tube is a few mm's shorter than the Duc tube, but all grips fit just fine.
I wish someone could just modify the throttle cable cam on the right side of the motor, that in my eyes would be the easier mod to decrease the twist needed on the throttle. does that make sense...? but I would thing you need new throttle stops on the tube anyway..

The G2 Ergonomics throttle is very nice and has at least four different cams to customize the twist. They are pretty cheap and easy to install, but you still get some of the lateral play of the stocker.

Out!

+1

Much improved over stock. Less L-R play, feels solid, almost feels more responsive with the new degree. Not to mention it's a very pretty piece of machine work.

cheers
