just picked up 796

Ive been riding my new hyper for a few days now, the only problem being my nuetral light seems to only come on when it wants to.. this is a pain cause I cant start and let the bike idle without sitting on it. Also Im impressed with the mileage, Im getting just over 200km's before the light comes on and apparently I still have a bit over 1/4 tank left when light comes on. So I figure 250 kms easily on one tank and I assume it will get better once broken in. Also was wondering in the manual it says 95 or better octane, I can only buy 94 at sunoco here in canada. What are other ppl doing? I was running 87 before I read that and the bike ran just fine.

Check this thread out for an Octane discussion. Ratings are different in North America than they are in Europe so the 95 doesn't apply to Canada.

I found that if you shift down to neutral from second then lift slightly with your toe the neutral light will come on. I've had the best luck with my 796 that way.
