DNA (ducati north america) has used a ducati dealership close to laguna as a pick-up point for ducati island parking passes for the past few years.
check in on the DNA web site for updates ... most likely will be added to page @: http://www.ducati.com/od/ducatinorth...?eventId=29421
in previous years, the dealership that has had the ducati island parking passes:
Monterey Peninsula Sports Center
1020 Auto Center Parkway
Seaside, California, United States, 93955
Tel.: +1 831 899-7433
note: even if you manage to obtain a parking pass, parking on the island has always been first come, first served ... but DNA always has had overflow parking (parking pass still required) just off the island, so no worries if you arrive late.

Monterey Peninsula Sports Center opens early on the day of the pass givaway and when they get there, there is usually about a dozen folks already waiting.
Don't sleep in.....

Hey disgo, why the concern about parking on the Island??
When we went last year, we just parked in the "Red" area and it was easier to get the bike in and out.
Plus, you don't have as may folks "fingering" your bike as it's pretty much on display on the island.

dave is correct ... in past years, if i park on the island, it has been in my DOC club booth, so i can keep an eye on the bike. parking in the "overflow" parking area for the island is pretty safe though, as it is fenced off and guarded.
also a thing to keep in mind when parking on the island ... dust! depending on the year, the dust kicked up on the island has varied from mild to "holy crap, how did THIS much dust get into every part of the bike?"

That's cool. There are plenty of guys that have been there so feel free to ask. It's a lot better when you are riding through the track area with all of those bikes going in different directions, people walking, loud speaker squalking, and YOU KNOW where you are going.
Next year, plan on trailering out to LA with me and we'll ride from there on the best roads Cali has to offer.
.....and yeah, I had forgotten about the dust.
