Difficulty getting neutral

So I finally got the Hyper on the road after the rebuild. The bike has only a few hundred miles on it and for some reason it doesn't like going into neutral when the engine is running. It goes in just fine if you shut the engine off but is damn near impossible when running. It shifts fine through all the gears and is running perfect otherwise.

Any ideas?

...and to assist bleeding set your clutch lever to the farthest out setting so you get the max throw on the piston to chase the bastid bubble out.

This may help if it's really stubborn.help with evr slave!
Due to the location of the bleeder on the slave, it can be difficult to purge all of the air out.

No problem, the bike was low sided on the left side by the PO who we believe may have perished in the accident but we aren't sure. The damage wasn't bad just scrapes really but it meant new bars and guards as well as a sub frame and swingarm etc etc which adds up. No marks on the engine cases at all and even the shifter was fine so I doubt the accident is related to the issue at hand but then again machines can do strange and unexpected things when bumped hard.
