Quite a few of us run the Bridgestone bt 003s R/S on the street and track. These are a very good street tire that can also do track days , and they are inexpensive. Best bang for the buck and when they slide it very progressive rather than a complete let go.

IDK. I'm just not a fan of 'stones. In my experience, albeit it was with an old version 'stone, it didn't have the "feel" I want out of a tire when pushing the limits.
Keep in mind though, I like to run my bikes "loose" and sideways so "feeling" traction for me is really important.
Although most typically run their tires "inline" (not sliding on purpose), wouldn't you desire a tire that gave you more "feel" should it decide to step out??
Pirellis always served me well while racing, I'm going to stick with them for that reason.
My $.02, keep the change....

Bridgestone B016s, Michelin PP 2CTs, and Dunlop Sportmax Q2s are all great tires for the money. Cycle Gear just did the latter for $199 a pair on sale.
Out!

Corsa III's are a good sticky Pirelli and have been around for a while so should be good on the wallet too.
If you get them to spin up they'll do it will great predictability and consistency.
I love 'em on the Hyper.
There is the new Supercorsa SP that's standard hoops on the new Hyper SP.
Don't know much about them but I'm sure they're sticky as all hell but may need some warm up.
Your going to get a lot of different feedback in a tyre thread because we all have our favourites that suit out riding styles...
Good thing for you is your in the US, and tyres are so f*cking cheap in your land it annoys me...

Just came back from Italy where I rode on track with Pirellis supercorsas 3 I think, these are the new official tires for the Ducs and they performed amazingly!!
2 days on the track, 2 groups on 1 set of bikes, 6 sessions per day, so x2 is 12 per day and x2 days, so it was 24 sessions of 20 mn for each bike and the tires performed great throught both days .

I'm happy with my BT016's
Have previously had:
BT014's - Killed in 4000km
BT003's - Killed in 3000km
Mich Roads 2's - 17,000Km (Commuter)
Dunlop Qualifiers - Killed in 5000km
Keen to try Pirelli next but very happy with the BT's
