Hyper 796 trip meter not resetting

I just picked up my hyper on tuesday and I can't get the trip meter to reset. The reset/confirm button works in the other menus ( clock, dash brightness, etc). I'll be calling the dealer today but I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

You are using the "mode select" button, right? Pushing it up until trip resets. Only reason I point it out is because I was 'tarded enough to use the wrong button when I first got mine

That was it, you ROCK my friend. Though my manual does say to press the reset confirm button on the blinker control to reset the trip meter.

Ya, I remember I was trying to make it out from the manual too and something wasn't quite right about it. Glad it worked out!

The manual says that rear blinker bulbs are 3W but they are 10W for real, too...
