can't fit DP luggage rack on termi 2-1 hypertard ...

ciao a tutti -

after seeing a few hypertards up @ the infinion ama races that had the DP luggage rack mounted, i got home and decided to try and mount the DP luggage rack i have on my hypertard.

found out at last step (installing the license plate bracket) that on the termi 2-1 system, the license plate bracket location interferes with the tail light location on the luggage rack ... so no can fit without sever modifications to the tail light plastics.

as i really don't want to do any mods on the hypertard that are not reversible, i am going to sell the brand new (only mounted once) DP luggage rack. see description/photo below for product details.

if interested, PM me here with an offer (reasonable one, based on retail pricing of US$280.50) ... so andi, no "i'll give ya US$0.50" from you, good sir!

DP part no. 96760508B

Rear luggage rack in black anodized aluminum. Rack's black color, size and finish make it a perfect match for the Hypermotard's style. Works very well with soft rear bag (part no. 96760908B, 96776408B) and the multipurpose elastic net (part no. 967415AAA).

Thanks, I'm trying in spite of myself. Today I had a wreck in my truck on the way to work. Bruised up the ribs I cracked in the bike accident and did a number on the front end of my Sequoia. May is not being kind to me.

Wow! What a depressing thread.

First the luggage rack and now this???

I hope it works out for you Dave. Stop hurting yourself, they have special rooms for people like you.
