Question HYpermotard Information

HI !

I'm new here, and would like to have you're input about the Hypermotard.
I'm looking to find a bike to ride on B road ( would say D road compare to US road). Those secondary road are very twisty lot of up and down, and for most of them very rought, with crack, ripples etc. I'm looking to find the right tools for the job. Right now i ride a ZX-10r for those road, but crouch position ,tight clip on and stiff suspension are not the best tools for the job.
What i'm looking for is a bike that have the composure of my Aprilia SXV on those road, with the abylity to be ride at 160 kmh ( 100 mph) all day long. But i whant a bike that is fun easy to wheely etc. I had a 08 KTM Duke but was realy deceive by the engine. It was fast and for the handling and braking side was wonderful, but no punch, and you have to fight like crazy to make it loft its front wheel. I want to exit corner on wheely like with the sxv.
Is the Hypermotard the bike to have fun like that , or is it a better fit with the Streetfighter ?

Please let me know what you think !
Thank you !

Based on your description and the bikes you have ridden in the past, I have to believe the new Multistrada is going to be the best bike for you. Bike was designed for good and bad roads, change the engine map and suspension on the fly to match conditions, cruise at 100mph all day long, take a friend and gear.

Hyper will not be happy over 100mph all day and neither will you. If you can spend the day below 75 mph, don't mind to fill up every 100 miles, don't need to carry all kinds of stuff - the Hyper would be a good option.

I think I would be happy going 100mph all day but we don't have any roads here in New England that you can go 100mph all day without being thrown in jail.

Having owned an SXV myself, I dont think youll find anything to compare with a 70 HP 260lb SXV . THe ducs seat is allooooot more comfy than the padded 2x4 on your ape. The 796 does not have the punch or adj suspention your looking for. 1100 not much heavier but still 100+ more than SXV good luck
