New ECU Changed Speedo From MPH to KPH

DOC Member showed up at our London meeting last night with new pipes on his Hypermotard. They came with a dedicated ECU. The '08 bike had 6,500 miles on it.

Now with the new ECU the speedo shows "EU" (instead of "UK") at startup and reads speeds in KPH. Bizarrely, the odometer remains in miles.

Have looked at pge 16/17 in the Owners Manual which seems to indicate the "Model Indication" is what it is and does not give a method of changing from EU.

Have we missed something? Tried searching for this but couldn't find the same issue, sorry.

That is outstanding! Many thanks.

Wonder why this information is not in the owners manual - at least not the '08 model version I downloaded from www.ducati.com.

Happy to help - it happened to me when I changed my ECU as well.
And all credit goes to Ctarna for originally posting the Panel Menu doc.

Hope you didn't also pick up the trip meter issue.

Mileage will be in miles, trip in KM. May not matter with your country selection or they may have fixed the issue but I had the same issue when my Termi went on.

Picked up the bike and display was EU. Dealership reset it to local country but my trip was hosed. Took a factory flash of the ecu and good as new.
