Power commander map Q.
Hey all.
I run a Termi 2-2 + DP ECU + cat eliminator, HM6.9 tank with provided pods. Recently I feel like I need to get a PC III for the bike run properly. I pulled out my spark plugs to see and it was satin black coated (problem with the A/F ratio?)... do you think PC III is the way to go? if so are there any maps that are done with HM6.9 pods? TIA

I'm no expert - but, it seems to me that if you're running the Termi and the DP ECU, you shouldn't be running rich. I'll just bet there are more 'qualified' ducatisti who will share their thoughts. Personaly, I don't think you should throw any more money at it. Exactly how is the bike not running 'properly'? More information will get you better feedback from the forum. Cheers.

Here are 3 charts (from an S4RS) showing mapping at 60/80/100% throttle showing both the DP A/F readings in black and the PC3 dual maps A/F reading in red.. Yes a properly mapped PC3 will improve driveability big time.

I have similar mods minus the pods, but I run a DNA and DP lid. When I added the PCIII, it definitely smoothed it out a little and gave a little more power. They spent a lot of time mapping it, but I think it might be a little rich even though it runs great. My mileage dropped big time after the tune. Your looking at about 500+ for the PCIII and dyno tune.
Out!

I used to be able to pull power wheelies in 1st but now the low end power is not there anymore, to do with losing the airbox I guess. also the bike stutters alot going from low RPM in high gear which used to be alot smoother with the airbox.

thank you guys for the reply! I think I'll add the PC3 and lets see what happens. Will keep you posted to what happens afterwards.

Why not go with the PCv??
I know what the Dynojet site says but my buddy is one of the developers there and he says it will work with the '08s (the site only lists '09s). It's the same MM electronics....

waspworks dyno charts
Hi guys, read your posts and thought you way want to see our dyno charts.
These bhp dyno runs are on 2 different bikes. Both have the best run that they made in standard trim vs the best run with the modified set up.
First is the std motard 1100 vs full 2 into 1 termi kit, also with lower airbox drilled underneath for air entry into both sides of filter.Added 5 BHP
Second chart is std bike vs waspworks PUK for motard.Still at end of the day, this bike had a std exhaust system including cat converter.Added 9 BHP
I know bike to bike readings can differ, but BHP or percentage of gain for each mod is clear. Also $$$ per BHP improvment.
May aswell put up torque charts too.
+3ftlb for termi kit
+8ftlb Waspworks PUK.
Todd.
