you ride like me, so I'll tell you what everyone tells me, get off the seat! hang your butt off the edge of the seat. we think we are, however we are really only moving a tiny ways. JB

Keith, you look like your laying an egg mate.
Get your shoulders and head moving... and your arse will follow... to begin with.
...or move your arse, and maybe the rest will catch up
Seriously though... I suggest getting your upper body moving toward the apex first. Keep your head level, and look where you want to be, not where you are.
When you get comfortable, it will happen in reverse, arse first then shoulders.
But for now, get that upper body across first.

what these guys said. get off the bike. that'll allow you to carry the same speed in corners with less lean angle, and hopefully not destroy footpegs and shift levers.
try it first with the bike on stands to get a feel for where your butt, shoulders and head should be. hope that helps.

This is from my 4th track day. Track was wet and cool and this was turn2/turn 3 at Barber.
Hope this shot is a bit more representative of what we need to do.
I too need to get off the bike more from the feed back I received and I also think I am sitting too far back on the seat.
Love to see some photos of the real pros getting off on their Hyper!

Fishtail was there on Monday - you should try one of those sometime. We have the best instructors and the best lunch.

Thanks guys,
the TD was with boston moto.
I really felt like i had better body posistion than i did hahaha, but this is good advice. next time im out i am gonna try to get me shoulders and head lower and out over my wrist more, but its funny that in these few pictures it doesnt show that i was looking through the turns...
next time i am out riding ill put some of these tips into practice and let you guys know how it goes.
I just got the hi-res today and they came out awesome.
this was my first time on the track with the hyper and the first time i ever rode in the rain, so i like to think i didnt do too bad. lol
again thanks for the tips.
Keith
