Will this Termi 796 kit fit on to a stock muffler?

Thought I better start a new thread with this question .......

Does anyone know if this Termi kit would work with the stock muffler and the pipe going from twin exhausts to the first slip joint ???? My dealer was not sure.

I appreciate your help.

I am 99% sure it would.
You can fit the slip ons without doing the manifold kit, so it make sense that you can fit the manifold kit without doing the slip ons.
I can understand why you would want to get rid of that cat on the 796 too, it's massive and very unsightly.

Also cofident you can. Not sure if the ECU setup would be optimal as DP assumes you allrready installed the slip on.

This link shows Arrows manifold and slip ons for 796. They say this system works with stock ECU
Also I asked them the same Q as you and LT said manifold would fit stock midpipe and can.

SC-project says their system works with no mods also but they sell the MEMJET for the 796

Thanks for the quick respones guys ...... I talked to a young man at Motivation yesterday about SC-Proj 796 sys .... they still recommend a ECU with a complete system ... he talked about leaning it out with a complete sys and needing more fuel. Slip on only No problem.

The Arrow option just seems to look out too far for me but look extremely well made.

Doing a Termi in steps with what funds I have is what I am thinking. I wonder if removing the CAT would help excite the sound a little ?

I can swing $1300 or so right now and maybe the Termi duel outlet slip on in the fall with a bonus check ......I just need to find the best price on the kit. I will ask my dealer to quote a price.

I appreciate your comments .... this is all so exciting ..... I am loving my 796 ... Bitch bike and all

I asked my dealer if I could buy the manifold now and do the slip-on later. He said they had never done that before. Customers allways bought slip on first.
I still think eliminateing the Cat first would have the most positive effect on ridability.

If one decided to go the manifold kit first the 2nd question would be could you then only purchase the dual silencer slip on ??
