Just fitted another 2 regulation mod's, and I wanted to give you all my first impressions after reading so many threads about such.
The EVR slave is brilliant, as is no doubt most after market big bore billet boom bang clutch cylinders.
I chose EVR because it was Italian and it was recommended.
Main reason for doing it on the hyper is I'm going shorty levers soon, when someone gets the CRG spectrums in stock! (waiting waiting etc.)
The lever pull is definitely lighter, (yet still not in the jap league), and who want's it too be? Too lighter pull is for pussies and that's what riding a Duc is all about! But a nice 20-30% less effort is enjoyable and welcome.
Only took me about 8-10 cracks of the bleeder to have it sorted so well worth the effort IMO. Nice shifts and easy to find neutrals. I'm a happy chappy.
The 14T Front Sprocket was a real test to fit.
Only because I'm no trained tech, but I am a home wrencha, and have been for many, many years.
I hate giving dominion over my bike, or car, to someone else, only to realize they've botched something!
I'll botch it myself thank you very much and save myself a shit load of $$$ in labour! ( ...and probably learn something)
Anywho... I almost f*cked up severely because in my haste to get it done, (never rush), I tried doing it on the side stand instead of using my front wheel chock.
After loosening the last bolt on the LH peg housing, the bike started to fall on top of me

Suddenly I remembered reading somewhere here that the one of the main support bolts for the SIDESTAND is incorporated in that housing.
If it wasn't for my Kung Fu traning

and shear desperation

I would have been wearing my Hyper as a blanket!

F*cking hilarious shit fellaz in hindsight!
Anyway... after standing the bike back up through brute force and adrenalin, and popping the bike into the chock like I should have done to begin with... and some rattle gun attention, it's all done and test ridden and I'm well pleased.
Seriously, you'll never see 5th or 6th gear on the street with OEM gearing, as with any Duc, but after a good ride with the 14T up front, it's not as a dramatic change as the threads here will have you believe.
When the bike gets older I'll probably go with a larger rear sprocket and a new chain etc etc..
But why bother with that expense ($400), when you can change over your front for a $28 Supersprox 14T.
I did see 5th on my test ride, and slow traffic was 100% better.
Getting to my countries speed limits is a hell of a lot quicker now also!
For real world riding, I believe these mods are a must.
