Termi ECU vs. Power Commander

Hey guys, quick question for all you tune-experts:
So, when I bought my '08 Hyper it had the 2-1 Termi (with ECU of course). I now have a somewhat custom pipe (stock headers, Comp Werkes muffler, no cat etc.), pod filters (TPO Beast-R) and will soon drop in a set of DP cams. So I was told there is no way to tune the bike to run smoothly unless I upgrade to a Power Commander and get custom mapping etc. True or False? I.e. what can be done to the ECU to adjust fuel/air to a different set-up or is it purely set up for the Termi and that's it?
I'm a newbie on tuning, don't hold back

Thanks!!

True, you'll need a PC with all your changes, the DP ECU will work best with the components that it was intended for, and is a "fixed" map to go with their products, so if you go too far out of their range you will have to do a dyno mapping with a PC or other fueling device. Aloha Alex

I would choose a Nemesis ECU over a PC III or V.
The price difference between the 2 setup is mostly covered if you sell the DP ECU that's in your bike (and you will most likely still have an extra DP ECU if you add the cams in your engine)

I'm running a termi slip-on + Zard headers + Ducshop stacks, and really the DP ECU is doing a fine job. I do not feel the need of an extra PC.
