number plate holder bracket needed

Hi.

After a few monthe from instlling the Termi 2in2 the bracket connecting the original number plate holder to the Termis broke in 2 pieces. I don't know if this was caused by the increased number of wheelies or just by vibration... but I guess the second one...
Anybody who changed their number plate holder willing to give away this part?
See picture attached for clarification.

Many thanks,

Claudio

ciao claudio -

that bracket is a warranty issue from ducati, and was/is covered by a recall, so no charge to owners to have that part replaced by the dealership.

if this bracket that broke on your hyper was/is the original part, and NOT a warranty replaced upgraded bracket (the replacement brackets are substantially stronger) ... then you should have your dealer order the replacement upgrade bracket for you.

ciao,
johnc

Hi John!

The bracket that broke is the original one. I was at the dealer yesterday and they tried to sell me an after market number plate holder as they said they didn't have any part on stock and they didn't mention about any warranty. Having a different plate holder would have been ok with me but I had to change also the turn lights and plate light. The total cost was ridicolous! I'll order a factory replacement bracket....
Thanks for the advice, very useful as usual...

Ciao
