Using a PitBull stand or other Rear Lift Stand with Rear Axle Sliders??

I want to get a pit bull stand or another brand that is similar quality but not as expensive (any suggestions?) and my question is do these work with our single sided swing arm bikes when you have installed axle sliders?

I just put on the Speedymoto axle sliders which I hopefully don't really need but thought I would put them on as they are only $60 and take 30 secs to install. But then I realized that the rear stands use that previously open hole on the wheel axle to fit into and now its plugged with the plastic puck.

So is there a way to do a rear lift with rear axle sliders in place? Thanks, Dan

Just remove the axle sliders. It only takes 30 seconds, right?

And spend the money on the Pit Bull!

I have one of each from pitbull, 1 for the axle sliders and 1 for the axle. Pitbull makes nice stuff, others are decent and do the job. Check out Vortex.

Out!

I went through this awhile ago. Ended up getting rear axel sliders from Fasbikes that are a no-tools, quick twist on/off design. Work great, on/off in seconds.

There another option. We sell lot's of these and they double up as spools and allow the use of conventional stands. Very useful when racing as the single sided swingarm stands are too cumbersome to use during pit stops.

My solution was to get a front wheel chock http://www.baxleycompanies.com/ and use it both in the garage for storage and upright maintenance (both on my lift and off) and also mount it in the van for ease in transporting to the twisties. This is a simple way to keep the Hyper upright without having to remove the rear sliders and I have another single sided swing arm stand for my 916 that I use to perform any rear wheel in the air maintenance. In fact I have two chocks with one staying in the van if ever I need to ask the MRS to come get me.

I know, they're not cheap. But in the end this solution is worth every cent for me knowing that I can safely carry two bikes out of the weather and store them upright which greatly reduces their garage footprint.
