Ducshop pods w/out exhaust

I have the cams ECU with stock exhaust. If I add the pods will it do anything to performance if I keep the stock exhaust? Going to buy a track bike this winter so I don't want to put the money into a full system for this bike but I would like to get what I can as far as performance for as cheap as I can. The pods are as you know much cheaper than an exhaust but if they give the bike more air but it can't breath due to the stock pipes I'm thinking it won't be worth it.

It's currently my track bike and I'd like to get a little more out of it on the straights.

I can't imagine the cam kit ECU being good to use with the stock exhaust since it will be rich and the stock exhaust has a cat (not a good combination).

YES! it will run much better, in fact it will work better than if you did just the slip-ons. If you ditch the cat, and ran the stock mufflers, with the DP ECU it should be fine and not run overly lean, just DON'T change both! At Laguna Seca Raceway, a few of us were running VS stacks, with the stocks mufflers (for noise) and the bikes ran fine. Aloha Alex
