HM QUickshifter for Hyper: if they build it, we will come
Talked to Annitori.com, the distributor for the HM quickshifter to see if they have a model for our bike, and sadly, they don't. Something about the linkage being of an odd size or shape (women having been telling me this all my life).
Anyway, Annitori.com told me that we have 2 options. Either get aftermarket rearsets, or get a group together to commit to purchasing and they will make one for our bike. How many people here are interested in an HM Quickshifter for their hyper?

Got an email back from distributor. If there are 10 people who want one on a hyper they will make one for us. Lemme know, post to this thread.

Quick shifting
Do any of you clutchless upshift your Hyper?
I was told how to do this at my first track day and I have found it to work quite smoothly. I generally use the clutch for 1st and 2nd and around town but just wondered what others thought.
Seems pretty quick but shifting the least of my concerns for now.

I can understand why Alex could want one, but I don't see a need for it personally.
I had one on my racebike as it made for split-second shifts and they do make a difference in racing.
The Hyper, if and when it sees the track, will be for trackdays not racing. For me, if i'm pushing that hard on the track during my trackday where I think I need the quickshifter, I need to slow it down or buy a trackday-specific bike so as not to wreck my cool Hyper.

Do you have plans to track the hyper at all? I really think it'll be great fun at arroyo.

I'm actually thinking about heading to Inde on 4/25 for the TI2TT trackday.
Even so, I'm only planning to run the "B Group" because I know what will happen if I run the "A Group" and I don't want to run this bike (my streetbike) that hard. That's not why I bought it.

I was going to post pix of mine but the file is to big and I'm not into changing it for a forum with littleness.
If you send me your email address I'll send you a couple of pix showing how I mounted my dynojet qs.
