Unknown Part

I am a long-time reader, (lurker), but, this is my first posting. My wife bought me a full Termi system 2-1-2 last year. My bike has been apart for so long now, I am hoping that someone can recognize this part and remind where it goes! It is a rubber, u-shaped block (looks sort of like a money clip). See attached photo.

Thank you!

That part looks familiar. I also kinda remember seeing it while installing my Termi 2-2.
I'll take a look tomorrow on the bike.

From the parts numbers book, it's a vibration damper, part #764.1.109.1A

Its a rubber stop that goes on stock lic plate bracket. The steel part with 4 bolts that mount underside of rearend and it goes between that and the plastic lic plate holder. I know cause i just installed a tail tidy and no longer need that rubber spacer.

Resource

I found this to be a very helpful tool.

http://www.store.commoto.com/parts-ordering.php

If you go to your YEAR, MODEL - the whole parts catalogue becomes interactive. You can flip the pages and zoom in on the area that you need.
