T-Rex rear stand

I finally put together my T-Rex rear stand and followed all the directions and this thing is the BIGGEST PIECE OF SH*T I HAVE EVER SEEN....
It required boat loads of force (in both directions of use) and if I didn't have somebody close by I would of tipped the bike over.
It didn't want to stay on the pin (yes I used the right one) and it has a threaded rod with a wing nut to hold it in but the bike went on the threaded rod direction and bent it and and wanted to tip over.. Now I was stuck with the bike and the stand trapped under it.
LONG STORY SHORT THIS THING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I paid $104+ $25 shipping over 14 days ago, so they don't have to take it back and even if they did there is a 20% re-stocking fee and my cost to ship it back.
I did a search and found some of you are using this thing, What was your results???????????
I have a steel beam in my garage , I was thinking of hanging the bike when I need to change tires ( I have a tire machine)???
Has anybody supported a hyper from the engine block????
I e-mailed them stating I wanted a full refund?????????????????????

i have a t rex stand would have to say that i like it. it works reasonably well. my only real complaint is the fact that the handle doesn't clear the foot peg.

as for your complaints, i think you're doing something wrong. i wish i was near to give you a hand.

mine is awesome. very close to my pitbull set! I also have frame and rear sliders from them. Please, contact them, they have been outstanding with after-sale customer support. They should be able to square you away.

Another option is to contact them to get a set of slider spools and use a standard paddock stand to lift the rear. I have both options.

Your joking right.T-Rex is a very good quality stand.Maybe before you start bashing a product in public you should CALL THE COMPANY and report the problem or better yet READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.It does not take a ton of force to operate so my guess is you are doing something wrong or only weigh 90#.

The stand slides off the pin when using from chain side and it takes all kinds of force. I weigh 190 lbs and lift 3 days week for 9 years now and bench 245 lbs 10 times. I also have used many stands and this thing is not for me.
BTW should I contact a company when I like there product before I go public?? It goes with the territory and yes I did contact the company and like I said after I have to ship it back and take a 20% re-stocking fee hit I end up with $59 if they take it back in the first place as I waited more than 14 days to use it.
They may of sent it to me with the wrong pin or the wrong model, either way I used it and I'm very unhappy , I will report back any positive feedback from the company in all fairness ???

You must be doing something wrong or have the wrong pin, stand or something. My T-REX from the chain side is super stable on the pin. I work on it, sit on it, and have never had it move at all. As far as force to lift it, Almost no force. Definitely a one handed operation. Hell I'm recovering from neck surgery and I can lift the Hyper with the T-Rex with no problem.

make sure you are using the correct pin. it should fit tight in the rear axle.
thread the rod into the pin by hand until it stops.
put the rod and pin through the hollow rear axle.
put the plastic washer on the rod and slide it up snug against the axle(nut).
put the metal washer on.
put the wing nut on and thread it all the way up to the washers. hand tight for the wing nut.
put some pressure on the lift arm and hold the seat with you other hand.
slowly push down on the arm and stabilize the bike with the other hand on the seat.
slowly bring the stand to the point where both it's wheels are touching the floor. at this point the bike will be vertical.
slowly and carefully push the lift arm more and the rear wheel will come off the floor.
keep pushing the bar down until the end handle is on the ground.
be careful to not crush your finger between the handle and the floor.

i do think you've jumped the gun here. be patient and it'll come together. if not pay my way down to ma and i'll fix ya up!!!

you seem like a resonable person who's just frustrated. i also hope you'll come back on here after you figure it out and straighten this mess out. i think you will, and when you do i will pass kudos to you for fessing up. don't worry, the light bulb will turn on!

the stand works really well for me. I like it a lot maybe something that you're doing is wrong or they sent you the wrong pin.
