Stacks
Here are a few shots of yesterday's work. This is a Ducshop velocity stack kit. And my EVR slipper clutch ready to install.

Not very hard.
If you want detailed pictures of the installation, I can get you some.
Hyper French board just received 25 stacks kit, we have 2 install guides full of pictures.
So far, none of them had any trouble to install the stacks.
So far, everyone agree that the performance and noise gain is incredible.

So, the stacks make the intake noise quite loud? Even with the tank back on?
I have been thinking about a set up these along with the cams. Love to run into someone that has done this to gauge the pain for performance threshold.

I remember noticing the intake noise when I installed the open airbox cover that comes with the 2-2. You know, "oh, a new noise coming from the bike, whatever"
Now with the stacks, the intake noise is addictive. "oh a new noise, gimme more !!!"
Now the bike is much louder in general.
Performance-wise, I didnt drive this new setup enough to give an accurate feedback.
But from what my butt-dyno and ears feel, those stacks are a win-win and excellent value for what they add to the bike.

As reported not too hard. The fuel tank needs to be moved NOT removed and this takes a little bit of work. I used tie-down straps to hoist the front of the tank up. No need to disconnect the fuel lines at the rear of the tank just remove the screws holding the lines to the tank at mid-tank. Everything else is pretty easy. Except putting the filters on those beautiful stacks, what a pain.
I also went ahead and removed the flapper motor and assemble while I had things apart. All-in-all about 3 hours to get everything off and the stacks in and the tank back in place. And that includes the flapper work.
If you decide to to the upgrade let me know and I'll provide more detailed instructions.
Tom
