Paint Code for a Red Hyper?

Hey fellas, I was wondering if any one had a good paint code for a red hyper. I'm going to need to paint the nose and LT fairing. I googled the Ducati Red paint code and came up with 473.101 on a few sights but my painter is telling me that with the new water based painting systems in use by PPG that number is no good.

Any one have a clue? Thanks in advance!

That paint code never worked... I did the same thing and it would give a name but never the mixture I tried ppg and others... I ended up doing Colorite and they are a very close match and sell all the stuff you would need from small spray can applications to the 2 part mix clear coat... I've done a couple parts and they look very good.

Thanks for the info Anitgrav, I'll have my painter match it by eye with the PPG system. I work at a bodyshop so I don't forsee this being an issue. Just wanted to give him a head start.

I'm searching high and low for a solution to matching the Ducati red with the new water-based paints.

Has anyone got a code or formula yet?

I usedrustoleum 'sunrise red' for some touchup on little scratches and it matched so well i painted the subframe with it.
