Hyper at Barber

Hi all,
I just got back from Barber Motorsports park this past weekend. Barber is an awesome track and the Hyper was a total blast. I had picked up a set of DP Designs 30mm pegs and I had no issue dragging a toe vs the stock pegs. Anyway, I had a little mishap and dropped the hyper on its left side - slow speed affair and mostly slid the bike on my leg - leathers and boot took the brunt of the damage.

I am in need of left side plastic (just red plastic, inner black is reusable) hand/foot shift levers and handle bars. Anyone willing to part with their OEM bits or have some recos on aftermarket parts?

I have a set of Woodcrafts in the works but in case I don't like their foot placement, I am wanting to pick up different foot controls, so recos are welcomed.

So glad I removed the stock signals, just kind of bummed my bar ends didn't arrive in time.

Body Postition

For you track pros that ride Hypers, could you take a moment and look at this links below and make a few comments on my body position and what I can do to adjust?

This is turn 2/3 at Barber which is a uphill/downhill almost circular section, though the picutures make the track look flat. I was in Novice and a little shy with this corner as this section of the track was damp.

are you still trying to sell your hyper?

Your body position looks fine, just need to lean the bike more; but it could be the corner isn't all that tight.

thanks

Thanks for the feedback. Track was cool and this section of the turn was headed downhill and into a damp area that was giving the willies.

I was thinking I needed to get my butt off more and I might be sliding too far back on the seat. Corner was not tight but I am sure I could have been more aggressive by leaning off more and going faster.

Selling - well, I am as torn as ever but I really should pick up a cheaper bike to learn on if I am going to continue to support this new addiction. I ordered up the OEM parts to restore its pristine condition and that bill was a bit steep.
