Termignoni Slip-on installed. Questions???

I just installed a Termignoni Slip-on, airbox cover, ECU. I removed and pluged the o2 Sensor. I know I have to reset my TPS. I'm waiting on my VDST to arrive. I'm still running stock CAT with flapper. Is there anything else I need to do when I fire up the VDST? I have read some stuff about fuel trim. Thanks in advance.

Set fuel trim to around +5% to start with. That worked nicely when I had the cat and Zard slipon. It may need a bit more with the open airbox.

The engine will need to be a bit warmed up (not stone cold) I think to be able to set the fuel trim.

I am right there now. What is the consensus with the above setup, in regards to fuel trim setting?

Every bike is different, and the ideal way to do it is with an analyzer. That said I do mine by feel and its great. Start at +5, that should be good for just the slippons with the cat still in place. I'm running +12 with a full Leo system and stacks. Reroute the connector so that you only need to remove the black inner shroud panel to connect the VDST. If you use a battery tender or electric cloths and have a connector for it, splice a mate to the VDST cable for quick and easy power. Go for a ride and get the bike hot, then come back and go to work. I use a medium size fan on the garsge floor blowing on the motor to keep tha bike at a stable temp while adjusting it. Oh, and be carefull not to melt the cable on the exhaust, drape it up on the bars.

Got it thanks. The whole swap went very smooth. No problems, but what tool is going to get out the O2 sensor without removing the CAT??
