why did i wait so long.
after waiting almost three years i finally got the hyper a few months ago and finally got a chance to ride it this weekend. all i can say is why did i wait so long. i can see the CBR sitting a lot now. put about 360 miles on it and my only complaint is the seat. roads are very sandy still and traction is a problem. got a good powerslide going yesterday in a parking lot. had memories of my wr400.

congrats.
the stock seat is one of the few issues i had with the hypertard in stock form.
replace it with either of the two available styles of DP seats (racing or comfort ... and there might even still be the "low" seat available). the contours and foam hardness in the racing seat makes it lightyears better than the stock sofa seat.
if you decide to upgrade the exhaust/intake/ecu with one of the DP systems, that will address the only other stock issue i had ... throttle response. the dp termi 2-1 system is what i have now, along with the racing cams ... world of difference in power delivery and throttle response. worth every penny.

i don't like the looks of the 2-1. so i am going with the 2-2 and the race cams. have looked at the zard system but will more than likely go with the termi.
