Bad clutch blues, now red
Well as i ranted earlier, with 80 miles on my new hyper, somthing came apart in the clutch.
I called Ducati of Indy and told Matt my problem. Told em i would be bringing the bike over from Ill. on sat.
Got there yesterday just before noon. Justin the tech pulled off of a project he was working on and promptly jumped into my clutch issue. We found out the clutch basket bolt that was supposed to b at 150 ft lbs was at about um nothing. It had come loose and let the springs burn into the clutch cover. In about 2 hrs i was loading my completly repaired and warranteed bike in my truck, (with a minor upgrade)
I just wanna tell anyone in the area, that Ducati of Indy is an outstanding shop! They really took care of me even tho i bought my bike from another shop. I highly recomend stopping in and seeing them, if u havent alredy been lucky enough to do so.
And the tech's really know thier stuff. Unfortunately i didnt get the pleasure of meeting Matt in person, but am certainly looking forward to it. Bill thx for the parts off ur bike!
