Angry stupid ducati performance bags - mounting

can someone please tell how the f to mount the ducati performance tail bag on the bike? i see where it slips under the rack but the front ties are not very confidence inspiring.

the full bags (the ugly side things and the tank bag) came with the bike from PO but no instructions. first time i'm attempting to use the damn things.

After two years I have never really figured out how the bag is intended to be secured. If you really want the bag to stay put I suggest removing the seat and lacing it aroung the subframe. At least you know it won't fall off! The f'ugly front side bags are another nightmare to mount.

in addition to getting the full color PDF installation instruction sheets for the DP termi 2-1 system for the hypermotard, i also got the color PDF instructions for the DP touring tank mount bag system. the color photos make figuring out what strap goes where, a LOT easier than trying to decipher the muddy black and white photocopy instruction sheets that come with the DP tank bag system.

as with the DP termi 2-1 instructions, the files are too large in size to attach here ... so if you want a copy sent to you, PM me here with your email address, and i will send it off to you.

ciao,
johnc

Unhappy

john, i can't find the color instructions for the bags of ugly anywhere. can you share? i did manage to get the tail back mounted on the rack somewhat securely, but it still slides a little too much to drop something expensive in it, like a camera rig...
