Who rides the most every month, year....
I just turned my 08 Hyper over 17,000 miles in 15 months, thats over 1,000 miles a month. I wonder if I ride too much, too often, but I tell you guys something, I can never get tired of this bike, the more I ride it, the more I want to ride.
How many miles/months have you ridden yours ?

I average about 10k miles a year. My '06 KLR650 had 33k before my 3rd year was up, and I'm sitting on 8k on my Hyper now. I have been putting some miles on my friend's SV650, too.

Miles
Hi, only rode the Hyper 1 month before winter set in = 920 miles. If we can count miles on other bike we own??? My best year was 35 K on a concours and most years I do well over 20K . I've done many 1000 mile days in most cases back to back to back etc. My longest day was 43 hours = 2,750 miles in one sitting, did 3300 miles in 57 hours(2 -4 hour naps) cross country on less than 50 hours many times.
Did I mention I'm a ironbutt rider.
My biggest problem with the hyper is it's 3.3 gas tank. My concours and now my v-strom 1000 have 11 gal. of fuel.
If we are not counting our other bikes I just might rack up a lot of miles on the hyper because it is the most fun bike I have ever owned..

Gary, thats incredible !!!
If I ride more than 3-4 hours straight, my right hand just "dies" and my butt feels like crap !!! I have to congratulate you. On long rides, I fall asleep, even on the bike, so I have to stop and take naps, you are a winner !!!
Dragoon, I had two KLR`s before the Hyper, and I loved them, but I had to replace the rear shock once too many times. I loved and miss the cargo rack and the soft and forgiving ride. One thing I also did not like about the KLR was the constant repair of flat tires ( nail and screws ), they were nail magnets for some reason, other than that great bike.

The thing that's REALLY impressive is the fact that you have 17000 miles in 15 months - and you live on a freakin' island - Puerto Rico!!!!!!! DAYUM - you're ridin'!

I don't ride my hyper at all. I just sit on it in front a video with a fan blowing flies in my face.
