Commuting tire question
I have a set of Pilot Road 2s now. The rear is worn out, and the front still has 2.5mm of tread. I wanted to try out the Conti Road Attack 2s on the Hyper, but they won't be available till the summer.
Has anyone here run the standard Road Attacks on the Hyper? I may just pick up a rear to wear out till the Attack 2s come out.
I got about 7,000 miles out of my rear Road 2. not sure how much longer the front will last.

i was a big fan of BT-02x series when i commuted on my old SV650. i think i'll probably try them again on the HM when the pilot rear wears out.

I like the bt021 bridgestones, I've mounted on my brutale, aprilia, monsters etc. Good longevity as I put a lot of miles on bikes so the michelins and pirellis just aren't the thing

What are your thoughts on the road2s> good/bad/ugly? I also need something to last a little longer than the corsa3s for some back road pounding and work commute some days.

I really like the Road 2. I'm not a track rider, but they stick well enough for me on the street. They do pretty good in the rain at speed, too.
I'm really looking for feedback on the Contis.

No feedback from anybody, so I went ahead and ordered one up. I'll decide weather or not to pursue the Road Attack 2s when i wear this one out.

The pilot road 2 is a great tyre, I have 8000km on it now and still has has about a 1000k left.
I give it death all the time
Its a shame i have to change it now as I have a big trip planned.
Also run a pilot power on the front, great combo.
You have made a good choice
