Almost taken out by banzai pizza delivery rider

out for late ride down favorite back road tonight...setting up my turn in for a decreasing radius righthander, fairly late braking...and out of nowhere a streak of yellow & blue comes flashing by on my right. Pizza delivery guy's late braking maneuver leaves him strung out midcorner. Pizza delivery guy panics, bails out and meets the deck. Bike meets guardrail.

I stop and help pizza delivery guy raise his bike. I was actually pretty pissed off with him after I found out he was alright. If I was better rider and had turned in any quicker, he would have definitely collected me. Rider plus roadrash and wounded ego slowly ride off.

I hope the good people of Singapore appreciated their pizza tonight

You should have asked for a slice for wasting your time.

Was born in Beaumont, went to school at UT and Austin will always be home. Sister and her family live in Round Rock in Brushy Creek / Great Oaks Dr area.

If that happened to me things would have gone a bit differently. If, after helping him up and collecting his bike, I found out that the guy wasn't too badly injured, I would have beat the ever-loving shit out of him and made sure he was...

You got lucky!
Some might consider you use of words racists !!
I find it humorous glad you didn't get taken out.
Hey you know we all mess up sometimes all we need is a reminder (ass chewing ) to set us straight...
What you want is a good outcome of the situation ifin he learned from the mis hap all is good..NO?
